STD’s introduction

It seems of utmost importance to investigate about this issue and every day more people are affected because of a of these diseases, but in most cases the main cause is the lack of responsibility and prevention when having contact sexual with others.

According to studies of homosexual couples who purchase sex are more likely to acquire these diseases than heterosexual relationships.

The first and most cases of disease acquired through sexual contact have occurred in countries with the highest degree of promiscuity and homosexuality, as Holland and it is great part of Europe and North America.

Thanks to the advances that humanity has developed and science, there are now methods of prevention and treatment if have acquired one of these diseases, this has reduced the number of deaths from sexually transmitted diseases.

Finally what I intend with this work is to know more about these diseases and the risks that are run in the event of contracting one of them.

What are STDs?

The sexually transmitted disease, also called infectious venereal diseases are those diseases that are spread mainly through sexual contact. Some can also be transmitted by nonsexual contact, but represent a minority of the total number of cases.

How prevent the spread of these diseases?

  • Make STD testing your yearly routine.
  • Know and limit the number of sexual partners.
  • their partner’s sexual history are as important as yours. The more sexual partners have you or your partner, the greater the risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease.
  • Use a condom. Use a condom every time you have sex reduces the risk of infection.
  • Use a spermicide. The majority of creams, jellies and foams contain substance chemical called nonoxynol 9 which can help prevent against some types of venereal diseases.
  • Avoid risky sexual practices. Sexual acts that break or tear the skin increase the chance of ETS. Even small lesions that can bleed in and out of germs. Anal sex poses a risk high because the tissues of the rectum is easily broken.
  • Get vaccinated against Hepatitis B.
  • There is a vaccine available that helps prevent the disease, this can be found in specialized locations in the study and treatment of STDs.
  • Talk to your partner when the couple talks lowers risk and improves the sexual health of ambosß, according to a study in much of America where there is good among couples dialogue and communication, no better empathy and better results in sex.
  • Look carefully at the body of another person. Look at signs of an STD such as rashes, sores, skin irritation or discharge. If you see something suspicious avoids sex.
